Sprout Therapeutic Riding and Education Center is a corporation organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and/or scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. Subject to the foregoing, the corporation’s activities shall include, without limitation (a) hippotherapy and therapeutic riding programs, animal assisted therapy and horticultural and other farm-related activities, in each case, for individuals with disabilities, (b) raising public awareness about the special needs of individuals with disabilities through education and (c) creating and providing fun and memorable science instruction in a farm environment for children and adults in order to stimulate curiosity and inspire learning.
No part of the net earnings of the corporation shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributed to its members, trustees, officers, or other private persons, except that the corporation shall be authorized and empowered to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered and to make payment and distribution in furtherance of the purposes set forth above. No substantial part of the activities of the corporation shall be the carrying on of propaganda, or otherwise attempt to influence legislation, and the corporation shall not participate in, or intervene in (including the publishing or distribution of statements), any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office. Notwithstanding any other provision of these articles, the corporation shall not carry on any other activities not permitted to be carried on (a) by a corporation exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code, or (b) by a limited liability company, contributions to which are deductible under Section 170 (c)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Additionally, print copies can be obtained, subject to written request and payment of a minimum fee.
